FedEx Sustainability Insights (FSI) is an industry-leading, cloud-based analytics platform designed to help Fortune 500 enterprises and logistics partners track, analyze, and optimize carbon emissions across their shipping operations. As the Lead Designer, I spearheaded the B2B product experience—enabling large-scale businesses to monitor CO2e emissions at account, fleet, and supply-chain levels, while providing actionable insights to meet corporate sustainability goals.

Strategic UX Leadership

• Defined the enterprise-grade UX strategy, aligning complex emissions data visualization with the needs of logistics managers, sustainability officers, and C-level stakeholders.

• Conducted user research and stakeholder workshops to identify pain points in multi-account reporting, API integrations, and compliance tracking.

• Developed detailed user personas, journey maps, and workflow diagrams to streamline high-volume data interactions.

Scalable UI & Design Systems

• Designed modular dashboards with customizable KPIs, drill-down analytics, and exportable reporting for ESG disclosures.

• Help build a Figma-based enterprise design system with reusable components (e.g., data grids, emissions calculators) to ensure consistency across FedEx’s B2B ecosystem.

• Collaborated with engineers to optimize API-driven UI components for seamless integration into clients’ internal tools.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Impact

• Led a small design team through 6-week Agile sprints, ensuring alignment with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders.

• We implemented a phased agile delivery approach, systematically rolling out features while incorporating continuous feedback loops.

• Each development cycle included integrated quality assurance testing, allowing for iterative refinements that ensured both timely delivery and high-quality outputs.

• Immediately upon MVP release, we enabled several Fortune 500 clients to gain insight and start to reduce shipping emissions through data-driven route optimizations, this client list is growing rapidly.
